The best way to ensure longevity with your tattoo, 
is to take care of it from the moment you leave the studio.

We have compiled our favorite care routine- to make healing your tattoo as easy as possible.

Traditional Patch Guide

  • Leave the plastic wrap on for two hours or until your next shower.-

  • ​Wash tattoo thoroughly and follow the aftercare routine below.

Self-Adhesive Patch Guide

  • Leave the DermShield patch on for 3-5 days. The patch is  waterproof. You can shower with it on.  Just try to keep it out of direct running water for too long. -

  • ​-Reasons to remove the adhesive patch ASAP-

    • If the tattoo is exposed. ​

    • If there is excessive fluid build-up.

    • If  there is noticeable irritation on the edges of the patch.

    • More than 5 days with the patch have passed.

  • To remove the patch, use warm soapy water to pull the patch off. To do so safely, pull straight outward (like a command strip) â€‹

Aftercare- Repeat this Routine 2-3 times per day.

Once the patch is off-

  • Wash with unscented soap.

  • Rinse with comfortably warm water.

  • Air dry or pat dry with a paper towel.

  • Moisturize with unscented lotion or a tattoo-specific aftercare salve.
